Atelier 34zero Muzeum is an independent art centre, created in 2014. Born from the ashes of the Atelier 340 Muzeum, its main mission is the study and promotion of sculpture and three-dimensional art in Belgium and abroad.
Atelier 34zero Muzeum organises 3 to 4 exhibitions a year in its own spaces as well as several events extra muros. Three types of exhibitions are organised: thematic, confrontational or comparative, and personal (retrospectives). These are accompanied by quality publications; quadrilingual and richly illustrated catalogues, and postcards.
We have received many project propositions for our « Pee in art » contest. Thank you !
In order to analyse the projects in depth, we decided to move the publication date of the winners to the month of January 2015.
Naturally we will keep you posted on the developments. Thank you for your understanding.
6/12/2014 - 25/01/2015
VERNISSAGE 5 /12 - 19h
From the 6th of December 2014, Atelier 34zero Muzeum shows the exhibition Wisła Stories, a bi-disciplinary project of Peter the Bruyne (BE), photographer living in Bruges and Marc Peirs(BE), journalist of the VRT and Poland expert. Together they followed the course of the river Wisła crossing all of Poland. The goal of this journey was to grasp the breathtaking changes that Poland is undergoing. The result of the research can be seen in this exhibition where the characteristicaly blurry pictures of Peter de Bruyne are in dialogue with the texts of Marc Peirs. The result offers a personal vision that tries to let the public discover or rediscover this country and the changes it is debating.
