Dear Friends,
We cordially invite you, on this Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00 pm, to the inauguration of our new collection of tarpaulins around a small cultural drink. This event is a preview of our upcoming exhibition in March 2022 based on the photographic tricks of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. You will be able to discover, as a preview, 8 works from the upcoming exhibition in which the characters are staged in different ways by playing with the photographic medium.
We look forward to seeing you on December 18, 2021,
Friendly and culturally,

Summer stage at the Atelier 34zero Muzeum
The Atelier 34zero Muzeum is organising sculpture workshops for children aged 6 to 12 during the summer holidays:
From 05 to 09 July 2021 (5 days/100ths) from 9 am to 4 pm.
From 12 to 16 July 2021 (5 days/100ths) from 9 am to 4 pm.
From 23 to 27 August 2021 (5 days/100ths) from 9am to 4pm.
Supervised by Charlotte Lavandier, it proposes to allow children to develop their creativity by encouraging them to experiment with materials while stimulating their curiosity for contemporary art. Thus, children will be in contact with different materials and will discover fabrication and exhibition techniques. On the programme: mobile collective installation with curtains, balancing sculptures, changes of scale, installation and drawings on stone, rolling sculptures, miniature concrete figures...
Important: there is no lunch provided, so don't forget to bring a picnic for your children!

Every wednesday: Sculpture workshop for children
Every Wednesday afternoon, from 2 to 5 pm, Atelier 34zero Muzeum holds open house for children between 6 and 12 years old and proposes workshops in three-dimensional perception and sculptural techniques.
The children are closely followed by a professional sculptor whose intention it is to guide them in function of their personality. As a result, this form of teaching is quite different from other socio-cultural activities generally offered to children.
Creative workshops FORME EN FORME, or freedom and equality for everyone
The meeting will be inspired by the artistic work of Marek Kuś and the starting point will be the artist's technique of reproducing figures and drawing them with graphite. During a creative game, the children, together with the facilitator, will learn not only the secrets of creating large-scale artworks, but also the idea behind them. We will begin with an independent drawing of a human body shape in an open composition, we will draw the shapes of ourselves on a huge paper formatted by all participants. The children will draw the outlines of each other. They will fill in the prepared shapes with colored pencils, according to the figure scheme prepared by the artist. A colorful composition will be created, allowing for creative experiments based on the child's own imagination and expression. Children will also create their own images, which will be captured in a final photograph.
The whole activity will also have a deep philosophical dimension. It will be guided by reflections on the idea of freedom, peace and egalitarianism. In the same way that the artist conveys his vision of freedom in his work, the children will be led to meditate on these concepts through their artistic creation. It is through art that the artist wants to bring the children to deepen these notions. Am I free? What does "I" mean? What does it mean to be free?
While drawing the outlines of another child's form, they will be confronted with the idea of freedom that others have, and therefore, with the difference of opinion. This is where the concepts of tolerance, egalitarianism and peace will be introduced. Getting to know others, respecting their differences and understanding their richness is the first step towards preserving freedom and building peace, so essential in our time. This workshop aims to introduce children to irenology (Johan Galtung) and to make them think about the concept of positive peace, i.e. peace as a state where cooperation, equality and justice, pluralism and dynamism are present.
